Since 2001, the team at Signature Cruise Experiences has produced more than 90 full ship charters, each with its own theme, entertainment and signature experience. While the programs of its jazz division, Signature Jazz Cruises, have dominated that genre and occupied most of their time, the team has produced several programs outside the jazz world.
Many of these programs were developed with and sold to partners and operators who continue to present these themes. Recently Signature Cruise Experiences launched a second division of cruise programs, Signature Events Cruises, which will focus on amazing programs outside of the jazz world.

Most of the Signature Cruise Experience programs were created and produced by the team at Jazz Cruises, LLC, a Signature Cruise Experiences company known today as Signature Jazz Cruises. Today, Jazz Cruises is the owner of the current offering(s) of The Jazz Cruise, The Smooth Jazz Cruise and Botti at Sea. Two other programs, Journey of Jazz and Christian McBride’s World at Sea, are owned by the same control group. All are produced and managed by Signature Cruise Experience.
These programs are very popular and consistently are fully reserved months before sailing. More than 18,000 guests have sailed on a Signature Cruise Experience program four times or more. Proudly, Signature Cruise Experiences believes that there is a Signature Jazz Cruises’ program for every jazz fan and a “signature cruise” experience for fans across all music and entertainment genres.

Since 2001, The Jazz Cruise has set the standard for jazz entertainment at sea, and, in the minds of many has become the most significant “straight-ahead” jazz event in the world. One hundred jazz musicians. Two hundred hours of music. The musicians themselves call the program “Straight-Ahead Jazz Heaven.”

The Jazz Cruise ’25 is fully reserved and any openings that become available are filled by guests on the Waitlist. The Waitlist for The Jazz Cruise ’25 includes more than 150 entrants. Very few of them will have the opportunity to sail.

The Jazz Cruise ’26 has been announced. From now through the first few days of The Jazz Cruise ’25, guests on The Jazz Cruise ’25 have the exclusive right to rebook their current staterooms. During the final days of The Jazz Cruise ’25, those guests may reserve any available stateroom.
From now until the end of The Jazz Cruise ’25 guests who are not sailing on that cruise may start the process of reserving a stateroom for The Jazz Cruise ’26 by completing a Pre-Sail Reservation, thereby establishing their priority to select a stateroom on the ’26 Sailing prior to Open Booking.

Chris Botti at Sea is a diverse, high-end celebration of music of several genres, much in sync with the wide talents of its host. Besides being one of the very top trumpeters in the world, Chris is a master of creating, producing, and leading an ensemble cast of top musicians night after night. Extending that skill to the programming and presentation of a cruise was a natural next step.

With an eye for doing something special, Chris Botti is proud to announce that Chris Botti at Sea ’26 will be a West Coast sailing beginning in Los Angeles, ending in Vancouver, with calls in San Francisco and Victoria. The website for the cruise will be available later this year and the amazing lineup will follow shortly. Guests sailing on Chris Botti at Sea ’25 will have the exclusive right to rebook their current staterooms and those not sailing on that cruise will be eligible to queue up for stateroom selection by completing a Pre-Sail Reservation. Both procedures should be activated by mid-January.

After years of HBCU and Divine Nine groups gathering to celebrate aboard The Smooth Jazz Cruise, we were inspired to create a weeklong reunion cruise program, Homecoming: The Cruise, to celebrate Entertainment, Education and Excellence. This cruise’s profound purpose is to award over $200,000 in scholarships to demonstrate our commitment to the success of HBCUs and Divine Nine students.
